We have the capability to employ several types of cutting methods on a given custom electrode project. Complex geometries, which are common for custom electrodes, often use steel rule dies, whereby dimensionally critical elements often utilize hard tool cutting. Prototyping and/or non patient contact components can sometimes utilize laser cutting.

Most of the raw materials that we integrate into our customer patches have unique properties making them challenging to handle and align. We employ specialized equipment and fixturing to ensure excellent laminating and registration quality. Our capabilities include both sheet-to-sheet and roll-to-sheet lamination.

Whether it is cutting and laminating dry gels or dispensing wet or cure & place gels, we have established unique techniques that allow us to process these challenging materials efficiently and accurately.

An often overlooked element of our manufacturing capabilities includes the final packaging of this product. This often includes one or more of the following processes: Heat sealing the custom electrode into a pouch Applying custom labeling on pouch, box, etc. Packaging pouches into a custom inner box Adding IFU documentation Package in custom outer box

When the manufacturing is done, sometimes our job isn’t complete. SSI offers stocking abilities to ease potentially limited space for your inventory. Moreover, SSI has the ability to eliminate another possible headache by acting as your distributor, shipping directly to your customers.
